Angela Sewell, Chair
I first served on the Board in 2005 - 2007 when I was the Business Manager and in that role I stepped in to cover gaps and work on policies. Since taking on the role of Chair, I endeavour to provide strategic direction and leadership across the organisation as well as representing Centrepoint to the wider community. I am an officer of Centrepoint with signing authority.

| Tania Lowery, Vice-Chair
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of volunteering at Centrepoint in several different roles. My job now is to provide strategic support to the Board, maximizing the potential of the internal organisation and balancing the management and external focus of the Chair. I think that, together with our membership, we can ‘work smarter’, be professional, and still have fun. I am an officer of Centrepoint with signing authority.

| Joanna Lonergan, Library
If anyone had told me in 1973 that I’d still be here in 2013 I certainly wouldn’t have believed it, but Basel grows on you. I found that the longer I stayed here, the less living anywhere else appealed. So, here I still am, retired Librarian and busier than ever. I started quite ‘late’ at Centrepoint, but before long became a desk volunteer, then a member of the Library team in 2010, and ended up wearing the Librarian’s badge. I appreciate the teamwork, friendships and smiling faces. Email: Library at library{at}centrepoint.ch |

Tom Newton, Newsletter
One of the things that have surprised me since taking over as newsletter editor is the extent to which it means different things to different people. The most immediate and visible use, I suppose, is as a reliable resource and repository of all things Centrepoint, which members can refer to whenever they can’t remember something about a programme or event. I am particularly impressed by how enthusiastic everyone is and how they want to make it fun for all.

Operations, John Baker
My appointment to the Board is my way of repaying Centrepoint for all the fun I’ve had. Now, of course, I manage the operations and the office, and help improve our communications throughout. I still help organise the Friday Coffee Mornings with Susan Gee. You may also see me from time to time busily setting up bookshelves or decorations - please say hello!

Programmes, Gabriela Posada
I joined Centrepoint in 2011, enjoying being ‘just’a member, participating in conversation groups and other activities, as well as using the library. What I find unique about Centrepoint is the diversity of its members. This gives it a very special and multicultural atmosphere. It motivated me to volunteer to take on the Programmes manager role. I would like to make it as enjoyable as possible to be a member, particularly with the opportunity it presents to share experiences.

Claudia Trama, Volunteer Resources (VR)
I started in 2011 as a front desk volunteer and, after a while, I took charge of the training of new front desk volunteers. In January 2012, John Baker, the previous Volunteer Resources manager, and I organised some orientation days for new volunteers, which gave me the valuable opportunity to better understand the needs of Centrepoint as well as those of its volunteers.
