Chair
To represent Centrepoint to the community and provide strategic direction and leadership across the organization.
– is an officer of the organization
with signing authority; effects alignment with mission and vision
statements, and statutes; sets the agenda for and conducts monthly Board
and Annual General Meetings (AGM); leads the Officers group; assists
with annual Budgeting process; establishes contact with and develops
relationships with external organizations and partners
Vice Chair
To provide strategic support to the
Board team, maximizing the potential of the internal organization and
balancing the management and external focus of the Chair.
– deputizes for Chairperson; is
responsible for the development of policy, guidelines, procedures and
sharing of best practices across the board; is an officer of the
organization with signing authority; assists with annual Budgeting
process; leads special projects as needed; supervises any Board Assistants; provides update report at Board meetings
Treasurer
As an officer with signing authority,
the Treasurer ensures the effective management and administration of
Centrepoint’s financial resources.
– is responsible for the collection of
income, control of expenditure, and the proper recording and
completeness of all financial records; provides an audited annual
financial report and budget and presents at AGM; is an officer of the organization
with signing authority ;leads the annual
budgeting process and monitors organization wide adherence; supervises
the Treasurer Deputy; provides Board with regular financial reports
Web Content Manager
Ensures the development, maintenance and proper use of all Internet-related communications.
– is responsible for maintenance and
development of Centrepoint website and online platforms; liaisons with
Board on direction, policy and content of website; coordinates
distribution of e-mails from Centrepoint addresses; supervises the
Internet Deputy and team; manages annual Budget; provides update report
at Board meetings
Membership
To manage the membership processes, database and information from initial enquiry to closure.
– is responsible for the proper
gathering and recording of membership information; maintenance and
security of the membership database; responds to membership inquiries;
supervises the Membership Deputy and team; manages annual Budget;
provides update report at Board meetings
Newsletter Editor
To oversee the production of a regular newsletter for our members which supports the mission and work of Centrepoint.
– is responsible for the production,
printing and distribution of the newsletter in its entirety; manages
advertising for revenue generation; coordinates relevant information for
inclusion on the website; liaisons with Board on direction, policy and
content of newsletter; supervises the Newsletter Deputy and
team;manages annual Budget; provides update report at Board meetings
Operations
To oversee the smooth running of Centrepoint’s daily operations and to lead development of its facilities.
– develops short and long term
facilities usage planning; coordinates acquisition, maintenance, and
repair of facilities, equipment and supplies; ensures cleanliness,
security, and availability of utilities; supervises the Operations
Deputy and team; manages annual budget; provides update report at Board
meetings
Programmes
To plan and coordinate the provision of
programs, activities and events which contribute to the development of
the Centrepoint community.
– is responsible for the organization
and delivery of programs/events/activities/groups through volunteers,
and adherence to procedures and budget; propose longer term program
strategies that meet the needs of the members and aligns with the
organizations purpose; supervises the Programs Deputy and team; manages
annual Budget; provides update report at Board meetings
Public Relations (PR)
To promote the positive profile of
Centrepoint across the International and Swiss communities, working
specifically to attract new members and engage supporters.
– is responsible for the development
and enhancement of Centrepoint’s public image and identity (branding);
directs all public relation activities; is responsible for the
development and delivery of strategies for acquisition of and retention
of members; supervises the PR Deputy and team; manages annual Budget;
provides update report at Board meetings
Secretary
To support the effective administration of Board business and operations.
– prepares and distributes agenda and
minutes of monthly Board and AGM meetings; provides administration
support to Chair; facilitates the general flow of information to Board
members; maintains electronic and printed archives of official documents
and records; supervises Secretary Deputy and any Admin Assistants;
manages annual budget; provides update report at Board meetings
Volunteer Resources (VR)
To manage the engagement of Centrepoint
Volunteers, ensuring that trained staff are available to support the organizations needs.
– is responsible for the recruitment,
training, development, scheduling, support, recognition, and dismissal
of volunteers; maintenance of volunteer related documentation; delivery
of award programs; responds to typical personnel situations as arise;
supervises the VR Deputy and team; manages annual Budget; provides
update report at Board meetings
