How do I apply to be a member?

Please register on-line and then pay your membership fee.

How much is the membership fee?

Standard membership is CHF 95.- per 12 months from the month of registration. All household members are covered.

Student membership is CHF 65.- per 12 months from the month of registration.   Student membership only covers the student and requires proof of student status.

When do I pay as a new member?

Please be aware that you need to pay your membership fee within 2 weeks of registration or your application will be cancelled and your details will be deleted from our database.

How can I pay my membership fee?

There are three ways to pay your membership fee.

Please remember to write your name and preferably also your membership number in the box marked ‘Zahlungszweck/Motifversement/Motivoversamento’ whichever payment method you use.

1.   On-line using e-banking.  Our address is Centrepoint, Im Lohnhof 8, 4051 Basel and our IBAN account number is 0900 0000 4545 98995. Our BIC clearing number is 9000.

2.   At the Post office. Complete a Centrepoint red payment slip (Einzahlungschein) and take it with cash to the Post Office.  The Post Office also has blank red payment slips that you can complete.

3.   At your bank. This will vary from bank to bank.

For security reasons it is not possible to use cash at Centrepoint to pay your membership fees.

What happens once I have applied and paid?

Once you have registered on-line and paid,  the Centrepoint Membership Team will process your application.  You will receive a letter once your membership has been processed.  Please be patient as this can take up to three weeks during holiday periods.

How do I know when my next renewal payment is due?

You will receive a payment slip and renewal letter by post.  It really helps us if you pay your fees promptly.
