Answers

How do I become a Centrepoint member?

Please follow this two-step process:

1. Complete the online application form on the Centrepoint website.

2. Pay your membership fee (for details of how to do this please refer to “How can I pay my membership fee?” below). Please note that payment is separate to the online application form.

Important note. If you do not pay your membership fee within six weeks of completing the online application form, your application will be cancelled and your details will be deleted from our database.

How much is the membership fee?

Standard membership is CHF 110.- per 12 months from the month of registration. All household members are covered.

Student membership is CHF 65.- per 12 months from the month of registration. Student membership only covers the student and requires proof of student status.

How can I pay my membership fee?

Please pay via e-banking using either the following QR code:

or the following bank account details:

IBAN: CH05 0900 0000 4545 98995
Centrepoint, Im Lohnhof 8, 4051 Basel

For payments from outside Switzerland, our BIC is POFICHBEXXX

Please state the name and address of the Centrepoint member clearly on any payment that you make (for example in the "message for payee" field).

If you cannot make a payment via e-banking you can pay your membership fee in cash at any Swiss bank or Post Office using a pre-printed Centrepoint QR-code payment slip (available to collect at the Centrepoint Front Desk).

For security reasons it is not possible to use cash at Centrepoint to pay your membership fee.

Membership fees are not refundable.

What happens once I have completed the online application form and paid my membership fee?

Once you have completed the online application form and paid your membership fee, the Centrepoint Membership Team will process your application. Once your membership has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by your membership card, which will be sent by post. Please allow up to three weeks to receive your confirmation email. Membership cards are printed and posted once a month, usually at the end of the month.

How do I know when my next renewal payment is due?

You will receive an email, including details about how to pay. It really helps us if you pay your fees promptly.
