Trips & Talks

Centrepoint organises trips and tours to a variety of places and organisations in the Basel region and beyond. Previous trips include to the Stadtcasino Basel, to a Clique to learn more about the Basler Fasnacht, to the Victorinox Factory in Delémont, and to the Parliament Building in Bern. Regular history tours of Basel are also organised.

Talks and presentations on a wide range of subjects also take place at Centrepoint. Some are given by members such as the My Place series where members talk about their homelands and the Travellers’ Tales series where members talk about places they have visited. Others are given by external speakers and have previously included talks by the Red Cross and Zero Waste.
