Book Sale 2015 Donation Drop off Dates and Times:

Saturday March 7, 9-12:00

Monday March 16, 17-20:00

Location: Dammstrasse 30, Münchenstein

After April 7, 2015 donations can be made to the Basel West Library

Allschwilerstrasse 90, 4055 Basel.

Donations of gently used books - particularly children’s books for all ages - are welcome. Storage space is limited, so please double check the condition of your donation. The suggested copyright for non-fiction titles is 2010-2015. Please help by donating books!

An article about Centrepoint, featuring our President, was recently published in the Schweiz am Sonntag.  If you missed it, you can read it here (in German).

Vogel Gryff falls on Tuesday, January 20 in 2015. The three heraldic figures Vogel Gryff, Wild Maa and Leu, will arrive by raft at Klingental at approximately 11.00.  They will dance on the Mittleren Bruecke at noon, then wind their way through Kleinbasel’s streets and alleys, dancing and collecting money for the needy. The event ends late in the evening. Details of the timings can be found at

For an entrance fee of CHF24 (CHF15 with the Museums Card, free for under 25s with an Ausweis), it is possible to visit many museums in the area between 1800 and 0200. Many of the museums will be holding special events throughout the evening.  Free transport between different locations is provided.

Centrepoint Front Dest will be open again after the holidays.  The desk will open at 0900 on Tuesday 6th January 2015.
