Beginning May 11th and until further notice, Centrepoint will be open Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 10:45 am.

To comply with the Swiss Government guidelines, the use of the Library will be organised as follows:

    - One (1) front desk volunteer will be present.

    - Four (4) additional members will be present inside the Centrepoint premises at the same time.

    - Two more members may be present in the waiting room (located on the 1st floor landing).

    - The Board asks any other members to wait outside in the front courtyard.

    - In consideration of other members, please remain in the library only as long as necessary to make your book and DVD selection(s).

The kitchen will remain closed until further notice.

Please continue to follow the Swiss Government's recommendation on hygiene rules and social distancing.

We ask all members to review the Federal Office of Public Health guidelines, when considering volunteering.  These can be found here, under the link "Coronavirus: Easing the measures".

All volunteer activities are at each member's discretion.

The Swiss authorities announced further easing of COVID-19 related restrictions which will take effect as of May 11th.  Restaurants, museums and libraries will be allowed to open.  Importantly, social distancing and restrictions to the size of gatherings (5 people), still apply.  People are encouraged to stay at home as much as possible, in particular the elderly (65 years and older).  See here for the latest information from the Federal Office of Public Health.

The board is drawing up plans for a gradual re-opening of Centrepoint at Im Lohnhof and will include events and activities.  Further details will be published this week on the website and in the Weekly Briefing.
