Donate Your Books: Support the upcoming English Book Sale

We are thrilled to announce the return of the English Book Sale at the Basel West Library. We invite you to donate your gently used books during the specified weeks and time.

• Book Donation Days: April 2nd - 19th, 2024
• Drop-off Times: Tue - Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-17:00
• Location: Basel West Library, Allschwilerstrasse 90, 4055

What we accept

• Fiction in excellent condition
• Non Fiction in excellent condition, Copyright 2018-2024
• LPs/Records all genres
• Children and Juvenile

What we do not accept

• Damaged books
• School Books
• Activity Books
• DVDs, Discs, VHS
• Non fiction older than 2018

Call for Volunteers: English Book Sale

We are excited to announce the upcoming English Book Sale, bringing back a cherished tradition in our community that promotes literacy and supports the local libraries. To make the English Book Sale a success, we are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us in running the event.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Sorting donations: April 11th & 18th, 10:00 - 12 :00
• Set Up: April 19th, 14:00 - 18:00
• Book Sale, Two Hour Shifts: April 20th, 10:00 - 17:00
• Clean Up: April 20th, 17:00 - 18:00
