REGA Swiss Air Rescue: visit of Basis Basel n°1

Thank you for registering for the visit of the Basis Basel of REGA Swiss Air Rescue on Tuesday 30th November 2021.

This email confirms you have been allocated a place.

The REGA Swiss Air Rescue was founded in 1952 and since 1975 the EuroAirport houses the Basis Basel.

On duty around the clock, the Basel Crew does around 1000 rescue flights per year in Switzerland and southern Germany.

We will be taken on a two-hour tour, to learn about the logistic headquarters, what it takes to maintain the fleet of three ambulance jets, six helicopters and possibly enter a real ambulance jet. Excitement is assured, experiencing the extraordinary work to save peoples’ lives.

Meeting time is 13.00 to ensure all security measures. The 2.15 hours guided tour starts at 13.30.

The group can't exceed 15 members.

All participants need to show their Covid Certificate. 

Please register individually (a couple does two registrations).

The cost of the trip is 10 CHF excluding food and transportation costs (pay cash to trip leader).

The trip reminder and logistics details will be sent by Tuesday 23rd November 2021.
