Photo Competition – SCENES OF WINTER

The competition organised by the photography club has once again been very well received. With 35 ‘masterpieces’ submitted choosing three favourites was a real challenge. The high level of participation in the voting was a clear indication of the interest shown. Over a hundred members took part in the voting. Many thanks to the photographers and to those who actively voted.  

With her breathtaking ‘Ice Crystal’ entry, Mioa Gerhard shot straight to the top. But among the top-ranked entries there was a thrilling battle for the remaining prize places. Choosing the favourites from such a high-quality and appealing selection of photos was no easy task.

Following the well-attended Annual General Meeting (AGM) all the photographs were presented to great effect in an animated video show. It was nail-biting right up to the end! The impressively produced video, accompanied by enchanting music, delighted the Centrepoint members.
