Dart Fun Event
The Centrepoint team is always up for trying something new – and our first Dart Fun Event at the Walzwerk in Münchenstein was proof of that! Finding the dart centre in the dark was already our first little adventure. But once inside, we quickly got the hang of the fully automated place – no staff needed, just us and our darts.
Victoria, Michael and our president-elect Anna showed that they have a pretty good aim. For the rest of us, things were a little less predictable! Luckily, nobody had to worry about counting points – the smart boards did all the hard work. Felix, however, wasn’t quite ready to trust the technology. He kept trying to adjust the score directly on the screen. Maybe he knows something the rest of us don’t.
As the games went on, the excitement grew. Some players needed several attempts to hit their final number, while others suddenly came from behind and won with one lucky throw. Skill or pure luck? Who knows! That’s what makes darts so much fun – anything can happen until the very last dart.
After all the action, we enjoyed some delicious food and good company at the nearby “Pitza” restaurant. Everyone had a great time, and already the big question was: When is the next Darts game? Members won’t have to wait long – preparations for the next event on 28th January 2027 are already in underway. So, get your darts ready – and perhaps practise a little before the next round.
