Basel Münster Tour

Jakob Mettler will inform us about the Basel Cathedral’s fascinating 1,200-year history. This will be followed by a tour of the site where we will learn about the many who are remembered there and who made a lasting impression beyond their lifetimes. Along the way, we will view and study what the builders, master craftsmen, and stonemasons created in terms of architecture and construction – as well as the decorative elements, including the many tombs and memorials.

When:  Saturday 17th October

Time:  Meet at 9:45. The tour starts at 10:00 and finishes latest at 11:30.    

Where: Meet in front of the Basel Münster (Cathedral) on Münsterplatz,  Münsterpl. 9, 4051 Basel

Who:  Members only, maximum 15
